Primarily located out of Austin, TX
Ryan primarily works on probate, guardianship and estate planning cases in many different counties in Texas, but primarily practices in Austin and San Antonio. He personally understands how challenging it is to lose a loved one or family member, and the importance of efficiently transferring assets, real estate and estate property in order to help family members move on after the loss of a loved one.
Ryan also works on Social Security Disability cases and has been very successful at the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) hearing level. It is very important that a Social Security Disability Claimant work with an attorney and have the right physician's on their side during the disability process.
Ryan also works on a small number of family based immigration matters such as applying for lawful permanent residence ("green cards"), citizenship and 601-A unlawful presence waivers and particularly has experience working with many individuals from a variety of states in Mexico. He is selective in regards to the Social Security Disability and immigration cases he takes on due to the amount of time it can take to receive approvals or benefits in those matters.
Ryan was born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and attended East Chapel Hill High. He has also called the San Francisco Bay Area and Houston home. In his free time, he likes being active and outdoors when it's not 100 degrees in Texas, especially kayaking and running on Lady Bird Lake in Austin and biking the Mission Reach Trail in San Antonio. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and has lived in Texas for over ten years and enjoys practicing law all over the Central Texas area and San Antonio.
Ryan splits his time between their Austin and San Antonio offices. The Austin office is located one block from the West Sixth Street entertainment district, and the San Antonio office is located 2-3 minutes away from the San Antonio airport near Highways I-410 and I-281.
